Vinnie Jones Charged with Brutal Assault

Vinnie Jones Charged with Brutal AssaultSubmit Comment
Hollywood tough guy actor Vinnie Jones (Gone in Sixty Seconds) has been charged over a brutal glassing that left him with 48 stitches while the man who slashed him will not even face court, reports TMZ.

The charges come after Jones, a British soccer star turned actor, proclaimed his innocence in the media following a bar brawl in South Dakota last Friday. Police said the brawl began after Jones approached some patrons in the bar and tried to join their game of pool.

When one of the patrons referred to Jones as "Juggernaut", a minor character he played in "X-Men: The Last Stand," the 43-year-old actor took offence. "He started pushing my friends around," patron Juan Barrera was quoted as saying. "He said he's been in so many other movies."

Police said the actor charged at patron Jesse Bickett, 24, who then struck Jones in the face with a beer glass.

The pair were arrested and put behind bars after the incident, with Jones claiming that Bickett planted the beer mug in his face in an "unprovoked attack." But Bickett has now been cleared of any wrongdoing, while Jones has been charged with three counts of assault.

No, seriously, the guy is too aswesome to sit in jail. He'll get the charges dropped, I hope.

They should have referred to him as "Mahogany" instead. From his smash hit "Midnight Meat Train". :|

Vinnie Jones......still the only true man to have played soccer in England. And what did that kid expect when he called him "Juggernaut"...should have called him 'Big Chris" or 'Bullet-Tooth Tony'... his best two roles

Vinnie deserves the sh*t. He got recognized from a movie role- I guess it really depends on the young guys TONE...He was either excited- or a complete c*nt about it...BUT seriously did Vinnie have to flex his tough guy image at a guy half his age? Let him fight out whatever internal bullsh*t he has in prison for a few months- yet it doesnt change the fact the man is kick ass.

The facts seem twisted, I think he was provoked and now he is paying for messing around with hicks in their own backyard where everyone knows everyone. Sorry Jones, but you need to stay in civilized areas where they know you are playing roles as an actor.

This would not be happening if X-Men 3 had turned out to not be sh*tty. Put Bryan Singer in jail.

Wasn't he upset in X-Men: The Last Stand when that one little girl jamming through walls DIDN'T know who he was? Dude! I would have told him his best role was in Gone In 60 Seconds because he didn't have to say anything.

That sounds a little strange for him to just snap like that. I know he's a Hollwood "tough guy," but I think there's a little more to this story.

I suspect that they said, "Hey! You're Juggernaut bitch!" Or something of that nature. The whole story is definitely not here.
