  A clip from the upcoming horror film "The Unborn," starring Odette Yustman (Cloverfield) and Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight), has been released. Check it out by clicking on the link below.
The story is of a girl (Yustman) tormented by the soul of a boy who died in the Holocaust. Meagan Good will play the girl's best friend, and Carla Gugino has been cast as her mother. Jane Alexander will play a Holocaust survivor whose brother's spirit is returning. Idris Elba will play a priest who helps Rabbi Oldman perform exorcisms. Rhys Coiro is the college professor of Yustman's character, and Cam Gigandet will play her boyfriend.
"Unborn" is written and directed by David S. Goyer, the man who helmed "Blade: Trinity" and has written scripts for "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." His new movie is scheduled to hit theaters on January 9th, 2009.

LOL! Wow that was awful. It's funny that after all these years Hollywood still doesn't get it in regards to making a "horror" movie and it seems so simple. Imply, suggest; create a mood and build on it but don't ever over deliver in terms of the visual. I saw the original "Blair Witch" in the theater on opening night before any of the hype or the fact that it was faked had gotten out into the mainstream and I have never EVER seen anything like it. People were genuinely terrified and it was AWESOME. The magic was that the filmmakers let people scare themselves.

And yet another "horror" movie is created which is just completely derivational of The Ring. How many movies can you make that utilize a freaky 10 year old, and blue lighting? Answer: Apparently not enough.
