Comic-Con "Watchmen" FootagePosted: December 10th, 2008 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
During Comic-Con earlier this year, fans had the chance to see three minutes of "Watchmen" footage. Now that footage has made its way online and you can watch it for yourself by clicking on the link below.
"Watchmen" is a mystery adventure set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight.
When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?
The new film is directed by Zack Snyder (300) and is scheduled to appear in theaters on March 6th, 2009.

Amazing... to bad there was no dialogue but still it looks WOW. This can and could be the citizen of comics and now MOVIES too. Snyder is damn good.

That music is incredible here's to hoping it's in the actual movie. Especially around 2 minutes it gets really good. The clips are all slow motion like 300. Hopefully not too much time is wasted with slow mo and more time is invested into telling the story. The reason 300 was so boring was because of the action sequences that were all slow motion. Regular speed action can be exciting too!
