"Jurassic Park 4" is No MoreSubmit Comment
A fourth "Jurassic Park" movie has been rumored for quite a while. Almost during every interview Laura Dern has been confirming the new installment, stating that she will be back along with Steven Spielberg.

Now, during a press junket for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," producers Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy have revealed that "Jurassic Park 4" has fallen through. "When [Michael] Crichton passed away, I sorta felt maybe that's it," Kennedy told ComingSoon. "Maybe that's a sign that we don't mess with it."

Previously Marshall has stated that there was an idea for a new movie, that sees Ellie Sattler (Dern) back on the island.

Were you looking forward to see another "Jurassic Park" film?

Not without Steven directing, but either way it's done. Unless they investigate the T-Rex San Diego incident.

Hollywood finally decided to leave a respected series untouched for once? It's a Christmas miracle! As if the last two weren't awful enough, for Christ's sake!

I think the only solid one in the series was the first. The second one was entertaining but hardly what I call good and third one just grated on my nerves. It's probably for the best that this one will never come to pass. I hope...

I would as long as the orginals were to return as they said they would....that would have been a very interesting movie to see

Spanza2 is right...it would be interesting to see the original cast from the 1st movie back for the fourth. The kids would look a lot different though....

I'd like to see the original proposed plot of the US government bioengineering raptors with lasers attached to their heads, and sending them into Afghanistan. It'd almost be so bad, it'd be good.
