Mark Romanek, the director of many music videos and "One Hour Photo," has been hired to make a commercial for Nike, which features LeBron James performing his pre-game ritual of tossing talcum powder into the air. The ad is part of Nike's efforts to push LeBron's signature sneakers, the Zoom LeBron VI.
This is not the first time Romanek has been hired to direct a commercial; he has also done work for Apple, Acura, Calvin Klein, American Express, ESPN, Saturn, Honda and Cirque du Soleil. Romanek is also not the first Hollywood director to be hired by Nike. Just recently David Fincher (Fight Club) put together an ad called "Fate," which you can watch here.
And in case you're wondering, the music in the LeBron commercial is "Candyman" by Cornershop.
lil waynes talents(if you can call them that) are about as abundant as teenage girls who didnt see twilight. No doubt his songs are fun to listen to when your getting laid but there is something about barry whites deep smoky voice that just leaves lil wayne in the dust. so you might think he is the gretest rapper in the world and so may he but then again he may also think his showing off will make up for his lil d*ck.
peace out bitches

Mark Romanek is the sh*t. Don't give a damn about the Lil Wayne cameo though.

Basketball and rap: two of the most over-hyped and borderline worthless cultural inventions of the modern age. And if the guy was tossing cocaine, the commercial would have made more sense. Rap is cultural garbage. One generation enjoyed the merits of Mozart and hell, even f*cking Elvis, another enjoys the bland stylings of Lil' John or Wayne or whatever. A commercial for dog sh*t with a rap soundtrack would appeal to some. God, I love watching the world go to hell through the porthole of popular culture.
a)Bron-bron has been historically non-existent in the playoffs and even got swept in the Finals yet he's still the "face/future of the nba. b)...see "a" and then do the math on what that tells you about the prioritie$ of the league. c) why didn't they include his pre/in-game ritual of compulsively biting his fingernails like a 5 year old? F Lebron, Nike and David Stern...

"English MF'er!!! Do you speak it?!?" i seriously have no idea what you just said
don't care about lil' wayne. love this commercial and love this site, but the descriptions can be confusing "Mark Romanek... has been hired to make a commercial for Nike" He was hired -- the video is done. Use past tense verbs for the past.
