Keanu Reeves in "Speed 3"?

Keanu Reeves in "Speed 3"?Submit Comment
Back in July 2007, Dennis Hopper revealed that he will return in a third "Speed" movie, even though his character lost his head in the first film. This information hinted that 20th Century Fox might make a prequel or a remake.

Now comes news that Fox is not only moving forward with "Speed 3," but that they are trying to bring back Keanu Reeves to play the role of Jack Traven.

"There's a scriptment floating around that reintroduces Jack Traven," a scrooper told AICN. "So the studios are hoping to get Keanu back on board." The site added that the new movie might not be a remake.

I can't even imagine the possible storyline of this third movie, but bringing back Reeves might be a bit difficult. After making the first "Speed," he vowed to never make sequels. But then he made "The Matrix" and was offered to make two more installments in exchange of receiving a paycheck that made him the highest paid actor in Hollywood.

Any idea of how Fox can bring back Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper?

haha dennis hopper's character was actually wearing a mark the whole time! it was someone else. an accomplice or a copy cat. and now he's back and really gonna tickle jack's fancy. my screenwriting abilities are amazing. just kidding.... do they need dennis hopper's character to come back? why not just come up with a more modern villain. or another older creepy guy. with a story

Focus on getting Keanu back. Get a new villain (not Dennis Hopper or any incarnation of him...no offense, he's great). What's the point of me watching S3 if it's going to look exactly like S1? Move on.

Die Hard With a Vengeance tells us that to return to the original magic- you need to go back to the family. Make Hopper the brother out for revenge. You remake this thing and I'm going to bomb the sh*t out of your country.

Flashbacks- my God just make it flashback- I should have said that first...but these days that normally isnt an option: "To hell with flashbacks- remake the damn thing."

A cop working for Hopper's character get's the head and puts it on ice and delivers it and a body to a Satanic Priest who reattaches it and does some voodoo spell to make him live again. Reeves and Bullock are married and have a 5yr old little girl. Hopper isn't a hundred percent and gets a menial job at the local amusement park. Reeves and Bullock take their love child to the park and Hopper sees him and unleashes demoic powers on the rides...making them speed up to deadly speeds (insert diabolical laugh). When Keeanu is on the Go Karts with his daughter Hopper appears and says that he and his daughter must keep the Go-Karts at 15mph or Reeves daughter will become the anti-Christ and the world will delve into darkness. Keeanu dies...Bullock lives. Daughter's outcome questionable. Roll Credits.

actors should never say what they won't or can't do it's just dumb.. actors can mess up their lives just by saying the he can't play or be in a role.. even though these are grown-ups and they can say whatever they want it just makes no sense to say what you can't or won't do as far as movie roles.. just say no and move on.. ACTORS TALK AND SAY TOO MUCH SOMETIMES!
