A look at what Johnny Depp could potentially look like in the upcoming Tim Burton-directed "Alice in Wonderland" has appeared online. Depp will star as the Mad Hatter in the 3D adaptation.
Joining Depp are Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. Burton is using a combination of live action and performance-capture technology to tell the Lewis Carroll story.
It has been previously revealed that that the film will be live-action until Alice jumps down the rabbit hole and meets the loopy tea party host. After that, it will switch to performance-capture imagery.

Wow this is a unique moment in film! Depp in a Burton flick looking like a goth/psychotic carnival funhouse mirror character. Same old song and dance. I generally enjoy Burton's films, he's creative and kooky but this is getting to be old hat. WAIT! let me guess. Helena Bonham Carter is going to play the...*checks IMDB*...sigh.
