Several photos and videos from the set of the upcoming Quentin Tarantino WWII film "Inglourious Basterds" have already leaked online, but none of them contain even a single shot of the director. Some have assumed that the footage must have been the work of a second unit.
Now, The Quentin Tarantino Archives website has found out from an extra that Tarantino was not onset for those shoots and neither was the second unit. Instead, Tarantino brought in a guest director, Eli Roth (Hostel), to help him make a "film within the film," which has Daniel Bruhl as a Nazi sniper and GIs on a suicide mission.
This isn't the first time that the two directors are working together. Tarantino was a producer on both "Hostel" films and Roth directed and starred in a faux trailer that appeared during "Grindhouse."
In addition, check out a newly leaked video below that shows Tarantino teaching Til Schweiger how to spit out his coffee properly. I can only assume that Tarantino was on set for that shoot.
