Don Cheadle Says "No" to "Ocean's Fourteen"

Posted: November 7th, 2008 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
Don Cheadle Says "No" to "OceanSubmit Comment
Exactly a year ago, George Clooney was asked whether he and the rest of the "Ocean's Thirteen" crew planned on making another installment in the "Ocean's" franchise. "The door is absolutely without question closed," he replied.

Clooney went on to explain that the second film "missed in some ways" and "I feel like we got the movie back [with Ocean's Thirteen]." He feels that the series went out on top, so there is no reason to make another film. But Clooney left some room to change his mind, stating that maybe he'll revisit the franchise when he and his co-stars are much older and looking for projects.

Now, OK! Magazine caught up with Don Cheadle to find out if there is a chance for another "Ocean's" film. "No," he said. "Done. It's a wrap."

Maybe it's a good idea not to make the fourth installment. "Ocean's Eleven" earned $450 million in worldwide ticket sales, but "Ocean's Thirteen" barely brought in $300 million. And the price tag of each film keeps going up.

Would you be interested in "Ocean's Fourteen"?

It sounds like it'll never be made anyway, but I'd most likely see it if it somehow did get made. Of course it depends on if at least most of the cast returned.

i think that there will be a fourth it'll be just in a few years time, when they can do the nostalgia sell. then they can kill off who ever doesnt want to be part of it and replace them with the current crop of top stars. i actually really liked thirteen but twelve was a little off the mark though
