Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that they were able to confirm that Mandate Pictures is currently working on a sequel to the horror film "30 Day of Night" and has Steven Niles and Ben Ketai listed as writers.
In addition, the site was able to get its hands on the plot synopsis: "In the sequel to the bone-chilling '30 Days of Night,' Stella seeks revenge on the blood-thirsty vampires that destroyed her sleepy Alaskan town."
Melissa George played Stella in the first movie. So there might be a chance that she would return for the sequel.
The original 2007 film earned a bit over $75 million in worldwide ticket sales on a $30 million budget. It clearly made money, but the movie is hardly a success.

The movie sucked they better make it a straight to dvd sequal...it doesnt even deserve that it should go straight to vhs
