Don't you love it when Hollywood actors and directors make commercials to let you know who they will vote for in the upcoming election? Sure it's never a surprise, since Hollywood is almost completely liberal, but the commercials are great.
The latest person to let us know that he's backing Barack Obama is director Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Da Vinci Code), who feels so strongly about his pick that he decided to put on a wig to re-create a scene from "The Andy Griffith Show," in which Opie (Howard) and Sheriff Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith) discuss "change," and then "Happy Days," in which Richie Cunningham (Howard) and Fonzie (Henry Winkler) talk about not making the same mistake by electing a Republican.
And what's liberal propaganda without a Sarah Palin joke? So while some may be influenced how to vote based on this ad, I will continue listening to the issues and then will make up my mind based on that, rather than on what Opie told me.
Hollywood should stick to what they know how to do and stay away from politics, you guys are the least qualify to enforce your opinions to the general public. My advice is to look at both sides and pick the one that sounds best to you and keep it to yourself... dumb asses.
