We don't usually post stuff about the Presidential candidates, but the people from LandlineTV [via Cinematical] put together a video that just has to be shown. If you're a Barack Obama supporter, you should have no problem with this. If you're a John McCain supporter, it shouldn't come as a surprise that only McCain and Sarah Palin get made fun of.
The idea of the video is that McCain is down in the polls and is forced to hire some Hollywood directors to make attack ads against Obama. As a result, he brings on John Woo (Face Off), Kevin Smith (Clerks) and Wes Anderson (Rushmore) for the project.
The three ads feature the directing styles of the helmers and while the first two are decent, the Anderson one cannot be done any better. I just can't help wondering what a Michael Bay ad would look like. "Awesome."
Any other directors you would love to see make attack ads?
Hollywood should stick to what they know how to do and stay away from politics, you guys are the least qualify to enforce your opinions to the general public. My advice is to look at both sides and pick the one that sounds best to you and keep it to yourself... dumb asses.

Those directors had nothing to do with the ads. The video is funny because its making fun of the directors' styles.

I Think paulina and alexgi both have a point. It's one thing to laugh at the concept of John Woo making a political ad and another thing to voice.
