Dan Aykroyd Talks "Ghostbusters 3"Submit Comment
With the release of a new "Ghostbusters" video game, fans have put together their dream team of actors to take over the roles of Peter, Raymond, Egon and Winston in a possible new "Ghostbusters" movie, which may or may not happen. The lucky bunch turned out to be the cast of Judd Apatow's "The 40 Year Old Virgin," which includes Steve Carell, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Romany Malco. But that was just fan-talk.

Now, E-Online got the chance to speak to Dan Aykroyd, who revealed that a third installment is currently in the works. "Well, you know, two sharp young writers are purported to be writing the sequel, the third movie now," he said. "If I could interest Seth [Rogen] and Judd [Apatow] to be part of it, that would be an absolute dream."

So, there you have it, your voices have been heard and with any luck, we might just get an Apatow-director "Ghostbusters 3."

Wow, what a cool oldschool franchise that would work well. The game should decent for those that love the characters... anyhow I'm not against a well done remake with recasting.

It shouldn't even be a remake... They should just have the Ghostbusters older and ready to retire with a group of younger recruits. It would be really awesome if Judd Apatow made it an R comdey this time around.

Not really the news I was hoping for but it's Ghosbusters nonetheless and I'll just be glad to see it all again
