Did anyone see Snakes on a Plane? Is it good? I heard it did really bad this past weekend which was its opening weekend.

Personally, I didn't enjoy it very much. I found Samuel L. Jackson's performance very annoying, and the movie didn't even hold my attention.

But then again, I suppose it could have been even worse given the simple premise.

It was kind of dumb, but also kind of fun at the same time. If you're not expecting high drama and you just want a little timewaster that has some entertaining moments, this will fill the bill nicely. Predictable, but sometimes that's okay.

The story seemed almost like a kids fantasy or something. I think that shows that hollywood is short of ideas now that they are upto making such movies.

Well let's give it points for not being based on an old TV series or a comic book. At least, as far as I know, it's not based on a comic book. I did see a movie at the movie place the other day, called "Snakes on a Train", so it's possible the idea was lifted from that.

Can't have an original idea. Might make people think! Save us all from that. :rolleyes:
