Why are they making another Fantastic Four movie, the first one was horrible, and now a second one is on it's way. I hope they are not planning to make Catwoman 2.

I gotta say, so far the best comic book adaptation has been Batman Begins. It was so dead-on that I am now a fan of the franchise. But also, as much as people will disagree, the Hulk was my second favorite.

We'll see what Superman Returns brings.

 I can't believe they're making another Fantastic Four. That was probably the worst comic book movie of all (besides Catwoman, which doesn't really count).

What else is new?

Never seen catwoman, but don't worry there will be plenty of horrible comic movies, like captain america and ghost rider. They should just stop this nonsense, and make the second Hulk.

They are going to have Silver Surfur in the movie, I am very interested how they are going to make him look. I always thought Silver Surfur was a bit cheesy.

Isn't the premise abit cheesy even for comics? A stretchy guy, an invisble chickipoo, a flaming man, and a orange walking turd man. I'll see it though. I'm just happy comic book films are being made. At least 1 or 2 will be good once in a while. Silver Surfer is a cool choice. It will be neat to see him surfin' in space.

I liked FF and found the movie characters to be very true to their comic book counterparts. Maybe they've changed over the years, but the last time I was reading the FF comics, Johnny was baiting Ben, Ben was always a bit grouchy and easy to set off, Reed was kind of bland and Sue was just sort of there.

The movie was a lot like that, as I recall. And Michael Chiklis was a terrific Ben Grimm. He captured the Thing's attitude perfectly. Always liked Ben Grimm.

I agree with mentaliser. I loved the first one and I think that the second one will be cool. And by the way, the best comic to movie is by far the Spider-Man movies even though Batman Begins was a great movie.

I got so tired of the Batman movies that I never bothered with that one. I think my daughter might have it (she has a collection of about 600 DVDs) so I can borrow it. I should make a list of movies I want to borrow from her.

In any case, I'd go see the second FF. I saw the first one in the theatre with my son and a friend of mine and didn't consider my money wasted.

I never really saw the first movie other than bits and pieces. But with Silver Surfer it does seem to peek my interest a bit more. I end up going to a lot of these movies because my teen son likes comic characters. So I have seen a few of them in the theaters and am really not impressed with them too much.

Recently saw the trailer for this when i went to see Spiderman 3, looks to be good. The Silver Surfer was by far one of the coolest super heroes (after Spidey of course).

Also it looks to follow the comics extremly well, just hoping they include galacticus to top it off and finish what could be one of the best movies of the year.

I thought Batman Begins was awful. Spiderman is the best comic book franchise so far, it follows the comics closer than anything else.

If you didn't like the FF movie, you've probably never read the comics. The movie was dead on. Ben Grimm was perfect and so was Johnny Storm. The effects (especially Johnny) were as good as it gets. For those nay sayers, are you looking for Hamlet? This is a comic adaptation, not King Lear. And from what I've seen of the trailers for FF2 (and I've seen them all) it will be as good or even better than FF. That said, if there is anyone out there that thinks they can do a better job, go make your own movie or become a professional movie critic. We all know what their opinions are worth.
