I read about WorstPreviews.com Featured Star of the Month Daniel Craig at http://www.worstpreviews.com/featuredstar.php?id=1 and I think that...You know I don't really know this guy, but he did a dam good job in Tomb Raider, so I say welcome mister bond.

bah, he's not right for the role. he's gonna ruin it for all us bond fans. a blond james bond, like my friend said, they should call him james blond. it's all a bunch of silliness and he won't last.

James Blond... ha ha, I like that. The one thing about this Bond is that he looks tough, all the other Bonds look like they just took the grandkids to the museum, while Daniel Craig looks like he just finished wrestling a bear and then wearing its skin as a coat. That's tough. Plus he was the man in Munich.

lol. yeah, i actually agree with that. he looks like he could be the meanest james bond. timothy dalton I really liked, because he took out some of the humor and was just tough. At the end of the day, a secret agent who risks his life at every moment and has a license to kill, excersises that right whenever neccessary. he shouldn't be making goofy one-liners while surfing on a wave. so, there's hope for craig in that department.

I saw pictures of Craig filming. He is looking buff, that's more than any other Bond can say. I think we'll see some serious @ss kicking. Can't wait.

Layer Cake was a fine film in the vein of Snatch although not quite as amusing and abit predictable. There are 2 scenes that I believe won the part for Craig as Bond in this film. A scene where Craig is holding a gun in a manner similar to Bond(I could see him as Bond) and a scene where Craig is stealthin' it Splinter Cell style. Very Bondesque. Check it out. Not a bad movie and good research for Craig non-believers.

Craig's role in Munich is very Bond like. He is a trained agent sent to assasinate the enemy. Close enough to Bond. Plus, he is the only tough guy in the film. While the rest of the cast including Bana are not sure of themselves and feel guilty about what they are doing, Craig is a machine, and the complete opposite. Seeing him in this role, I realize that he'd be perfect for Bond. Check out the trailer for Casino Royale (http://www.worstpreviews.com/media.php?id=67&place=trailer).

Layer Cake was pretty good, but definitely not that original. You can see all kinds of influences in the movie, especially Scorsese. The ending was a surprise though - pretty good. I still like Craig for Bond, but somehow, I think he may not last like George Lazenby or Timothy Dalton.

I truly love James Bond movies, and I'm going to be honest, I'm a woman who just watches to see attractive, sexy men play the role. When I think international spy I want to see someone truly look the part and be able to pull off the role. Daniel Craig just doesnt cut it in the looks/sexy dept for me as Bond. I loved tomb raider, but only because of Angelina LOL. This has been the only Bond film I havent seen and probably wont, which to me is truly a shame. :( Maybe this time around they were trying to make this more of a film geared toward the male audience as opposed to both sexes. I really hope this character doesn't end up going the way of Batman, starting off with the perfect actor- Michael Keaton, and then just going down in flames with every installment and new actor. I see Bond as a complex character just like the Bruce Wayne/ Batman. A role that is truly almost 2 different characters, they both need to be tough and kick butt, but also be charming and smooth when the story calls for it. The charming and smooth bit is where Craig is lacking I feel. Maybe someday i'll get over the looks but until then he just looks like some random tough guy dressed up in Bond clothes, to be very extreme it's almost like dressing up larry the cable guy in an armani tux. Sorry Daniel but you just don't look posh enough to be a true Bond.
