Definitely Bond. He is the original spy. And at least he know who he is. He doesnt run around yelling, "Who am I? Why are you trying to kill me?!!?!" I cant believe they got away with doing that for 3 fucking movies.

If you read the original books you know there would be no question that it is "Bourne". Webb took the identity and was trained to take down the world's greatest assassin, Carlos the Jackal.

Bond= A spy, his job is to primarily gather intel and in the older movies was accompanied by military personnel on the raid at the end of the movies. His license to kill is secondary.

Bourne= An assassin, trained in killing targets and slipping back into the general public.

If you read the books (starting with The Bourne Identity, which actually took place in 1977 I believe) you realize how much of a badass Webb really is.

Don't get me wrong, I grew up watching and loving the Bond films and the new movies are absolutely incredible. But between the two fictional characters? I will take Webb and his black turtle neck over Bond and his tuxedo any day!

Yikes, tough one. On one hand we have James Bonds whose originally British and is pretty kick ass. He knows how to slip through places quietly and is pretty smart. He can even beat his superior's technology and outsmart them. That's pretty cool for a British spy who has a license to kill. He's working for his own Government to take down others.

On the other hand we have Jason Bourne who is an American and he's also kick ass. He doesn't know who he is. He wears civilian clothing. He never knew he was capable of the skills he knows while he forgot who he is. He is licensed to kill by Government as well. But he's also running from them and is fighting against his own. He's also smart and knows what he's doing.

It's hard to choose. Normally I'd say James Bond all the way. But...Since Bourne is against his own Government and actually won, I'd say..Jason Bourne. Sure he doesn't get sex every movie like Bond does, but at least Jason is realistic.

So, my choice is Jason Bourne.

Gotta be bond for sure, no matter what era. Though guy british spy who always sexy chicks out to get him. Plus bond is an on going franchise that has be around for decades. The bourne series on the other hand has been laid to rest and wont live past the trilogy, and any attempt to ressurect another sequel would be a slap in the face to Robert Ludlem unless he himself decides write a new Bourne novel.

Also Bourne was always looking to get a his normal life back and out of the face danger, and Bond launches himself in to danger with sexy cars and gadgets (you'll never see Bourne crash a 0.5 millon dollar luxury car at 200mph:cool: )

if we are talking over all time then its bond for sure but based on recent exploits bourne batters bond. This is simply down to the fact that Bond has lost his identity and quantum of solace was shot with so much "homage" to bourne some of the set pieces were almost carbon copies of those in Supremecy and Ultimatum. Since when does Bond use all the cgi its supposed to be about the stunts!!! Bond is the legend but when you consider Bourne has only had three outings the new kid on the block ent doing half bad in my book
