Miami Vice 2006 is to be released on July 28,2006 and everybody is wondering...Can Michael Mann pull off another hit? I have lots of faith..the cast lineup is excellent. With several big name actors and more than a few newcomers that stand out..especially Li Gong's Russian bodygaurd and right hand man, Ilan Krigsfeld. I'm excited about the premier and think it will go far..Michael Mann is a big screen genius as we all know.....

I love Mann's films, but I wonder about Foxx and Farrell. Even though they can pull off high action films, I'm not sure they can handle the acting demands that Mann needs to build up the characters.

I'll see it in the theaters.

In a way I sorta agree, but we just gotta keep our fingers crossed....With a cast like that, there should be enough action filled performers to carry Foxx and Farell, should they start to loose their..shall we say, touch?

I'm not a big fan of Colin Farrell to be honest with you, but how can I say no to a Michael Mann flick. By the way does anybody know where I can view pictures of Li Gong's bodyguard Ilan Kriesffeld? I keep hearing rumors about how hot he is and all, I wanna judge for myself. I searched his name on the web, nothing came up...:confused:

With all due respect Lisa Colin Farrell is hot... and the reason why you're not getting any feedback on Li Gong's bodyguard is because you spelled his name wrong, it's Ilan Krigsfeld. Go to www.imdb.com and type his full name you should be able to see his pictures from there... he is hot, but I'm a Colin Farrell girl.:D

We ended up renting this movie, and I was surprised by abit of it. I really don't think it could come close to the original, but you know - how many years later did this happen? And seriously, who could compete with Don J? Collin F. cant - I still have issues "liking" him as an actor, its not that he does such a horrible job, but I think he takes roles that he can maybe 70-80% do well at, and I always end up hating them. Then again, I'm a jerk too. :)
