Let see if we can compile a list of the best 10 directors. My choice has to be Spielberg. 1 vote for him.

Good one. Poor Scorsese, his name is now synonimous with not getting an Oscar. I know for a fact that he will win this year for "The Departed". Hollywood can't have a great director never win an Oscar while Three-Six Mafia does.

Even though he's very young, and still working on his style... I am going to have to vote for M. Night Shyamalan. Can't wait for Lady in the Water.

Where's Kubrick? Verhoeven? The Scott's? Cameron? Singer? Del Toro? Boyle? Lynch?

In my opinion, Lynch is the most overrated director of today. I was extremely dissapointed when i finally saw "Mulholland Dr." Had heard that it was a masterpiece, but the movie was kind of "hollow". not much to it.

Spielberg is my hero but he is not my favorite movie director. But I would have to go with Gore Verbinski! I love his style although PotC Dead Man's Chest was a little dissapointing to me. But Still I love him. But I don't know I would have to put my vote in for Christopher Nolan.
