I saw the first cut of the movie and it was the worst piece of crap I've ever seen. It was akwardly melodramatic and the actors were horrible. It's the lousiest bit of directing I've ever seen. And, in this movie, the murder mystery has been solved. WAIT!! It was supposed to be an unsolved crime. The ending was horrible. The writers should not have taken the task of adding anything that really didn't belong. They could have at least made it believable. Don't waste your time. See it on DVD or, better yet, cable TV.
Wow, I can't believe it. Is it possible that the studio knows this, and will fix it up in time for their October release date? The cast looks a bit young and inexperienced, but it's Brian De Palma, he should have knocked it out, having done films like this before.

First cuts of movies tend to be pieces of crap. I'm still anticipating it.

I was dissappointed with this movie. I kept hoping it would get better as the movie progressed - but it didn't. I was surprised to see a different glamorous look for Hillary Swank. I think this may have been her first role as a seductress.

I am really not one that can sit threw a melodramatic flick, but this was okay. I am happy I did not go out to see it, and rented it via Netflix, but really - I can not sit during a melodramatic flick. I am (maybe one of the few?) females that needs something going on GOOD in a movie to keep my attention.
