Just wanted to start a thread on what everyone believes will be the best or worst of '06 for the rest of the year. Or even what you's guys want to see real bad. Me:

X-men 3: hope it's good but may be too much going on in 2 hours

Superman: Looks like a huge disappointment

Lady in the Water: Don't care about early reviews gotta see it

Dungeon Siege: Who is funding this guy's movies(Uwe "Toilet" Boll)

Nacho Libre: I want a funny Jack Black movie

Strangers With Candy: Bring it out already

Clerks 2: Wasn't Jay and Silent Bob movie Clerks 2(beating a dead horse)I'll see it though

For Your Consideration: Yesssss!

Texas Chainsaw whatever: Beating a dead starlet

Sunshine: Can't wait for Boyle on Sci-Fi

Banlieue 13: Escape from Paris?

DaVinci Code: National Treasure with a better story and actors(never did care much for Ron Howard movies)

Cars: Nemo for rednecks(You might be a redneck if... you have to use grandma's purse to sneak in your kids Diet Mountain Dew and Skoal)

The Omen: 06-06-06 Might see it if the world doesn't end

Feel free to add more, comment harshly, or just ignore. I'll add some more when I think of them.

I would have to throw "Crank" in there. Jason Stathom playing a guy that goes on a complete rampage, nothing could be better.
Read About Crank. (http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=335)

Good to see Statham getting more work. Now, if Guy Ritchie could get his act together. If this doesn't do well I'd be suprised.

Hmmm, I bet that Clerks 2 will suck. It probably won't have the edge that Clerks had. It'll probably be like with Blair Witch 2, without everything that made the first movie special.

Clerks 2 isn't exactly the first sequel that Kevin Smith is doing. He's been milking the same characters and storylines for a while now. I'm sure it will be just as good or bad (depending on your point of view) as any of his movies. But no, it will not have the same B&W, gritty, unpolished feel of the original.

Well, looks like I was right about X-Men. Didn't expect it to be so boring though. It took to long to get going and when it did it was over. Looks like all the money was spent for the last battle(read:Stand) and none was left over for the first hour and a half. Very disappointing. Way too many unanswered questions.

Well, just looked at my original post and WOW! Most of those movies sucked.

Banlieue 13: Saw it on video. Not what I expected. If you liked the fights in new Bond and can handle english dub it's pretty fun. Kinda like a Jackie Chan flick of old. Not alot of substance but some cool style. Definitely not like Escape From... movies. 6.0

Lady In The Water: Guess I did care about reviews. Still haven't seen it. Would like to hear from a non-biased person who has seen it.

Chainsaw Massacre Again or whatever: Makes the 2nd Chainsaw look like Godfather 2. 5.0

Sunshine: Still can't wait for Boyle on Science Fiction. Good cast.

Strangers With Candy: What the hell happened? Had some moments. But it was like they forgot everything they did in the T.V. show. Know wonder this didn't really get a release. A good sh!t on the fans, we made it for ourselves, worst cameo choices in history, rental. 5.5

DaVinci Code: Still don't care for Ron Howard movies and now starting to not like Tom Hanks movies. 6.0

Cars: Best kid flick of the summer. I liked it too. 7.5

The Omen: Yeah. I'll just skip this one. Don't see it. Even if your desperate for a scare. Rent Creep or Cookers instead. -6.6.6

For Your Consideration: Mehhh! Not as good as I(or most) hoped. Better rental if your a fan. 6.0

Clerks 2: Not as charming as the original. Some cheese moments(Blues Brothers. Really.). But, also some damn funny moments. 7.5

Dungeon Siege: What no release yet? Why? This looks sooo awesome!

Superman Returns: Huge disappointment. Way too long. Not enough Super. To much kissy. Please don't let this guy make another! 4.5

X-Men 3: Good effects. Major story letdowns. 6.5

Nacho Libre: Saw it after Superman Returns at a drive-in. Maybe it was because Supes sucked but, I thought this was hilarious. Never saw so many ugly people in a movie since Todd Brownings Freaks. Nowhere near the charm of Napoleon Dynamite. 6.0

Feel free to bash, comment, or fawn.

Lady in the water - This movie constantly tries explaining itself, M. Night Shyamalan's Lady in the Water doesn't make a drop of sense. It lacks thrill, flair and coherence.

The wosrt category movie award is won by Superman Returns. It beats everyone. Even Lady in the Water. It really should have never returned.

Shyamalan doesn't provide us with a big twist, but he does need a new writer. The movie is silly and funny in the wrong places...
