What did you all think about SM3?
I did not like it to much, I had such high expectations for the movie and it met none of them. I think that was the problem I had with this movie. I waited so long to see it and counted down till the big May 4th release and then when it came there was no way the movie could live up to what I dreamed of it.
What did you think?

That's the problem with highly anticipated films; they never live up to what we expect. In the case of "Spider-Man 3," it didn't even live up to "Spider-Man 2." The story was laughable and Venom was very different from what I wanted to see. I remember during some parts of the movie, the audience would make fun of the sensitive Spidey. In fact, they were laughing so hard, I couldn't even hear the dialogue. Not a good sign of a well written film.

i thought sm3 was an alright film, the effects was good and the ending was of a nice nature where they made up. plus venum was mental.

i mean its allways cool when studios buy the rigts for comic heroes and create a movie. but the big problem is that the final movie is too different to the comic and to the characteristics of the heroes. so the hero suits are terreble for exampel the villians in movies like ghostrider,daredevil,x-men....
spiderman 3 had great special effects and it was nice to watch it but the story was the biggest shit i have ever seen.
venom was terrible. a skinny little, dark creature which apperead at the last 15 minutes of the film withc ist voice witch was like the scream of a little girl.
in all the 190 minutes no one talked about venom, about his name or origin...i was very dissapointed. venom is one of my marvel favourites but spiderman 3 was not what i did expect.
venom had too be big, with huge muscles, his suit had to be more original, his mouth and his teeth bigger and ther toung had too be longer.
venom renebers be to carnage.tzhats so wrong. i hope marvel learnd about this and will not sell their storys and heroes anymore.that is pissin me of.all this wrong movies. special effects are not all of a movie.there are too many things which where much more important.

I could not agree with you more about Venom. Apparently, director Sam Raimi never wanted Venom in the movie, but since the fans did, he stuck him in there with obviously terrible results.

the fact is: the comic movies have to better in the future

Yes the results were terrible. Venom, sandman and Harry complicated the plot. It could have been better if spidey was fighting only sandman or venom not both. Also symbiote was too much stuffed into a movie for audience to digest all.

Wow - even though I am a Spidy Freak, I'm not sure I want to see it after what I have read. I don't like it when movies clutter up the stuff, that irks me to no end.

yes my biggest gripe with the movie is that they tried to introduce too many new characters and because of it the movies story suffered

I Like Spiderman 3 Maybe It's Not Good As 1 & 2 But All 3rd Films Not As Good As 1st And 2nd Film. :D
