Girl Interrupted

I just watched Girl Interrupted this weekend and had forgotten what an excellent film this is. If anyone is looking for a dark and moving movie with great acting, rent this movie.

Angelina Jolie was a seriously convincing sociopath in this flick. I really liked the part when the main character told her the reason that no one ever "pushed her buttons" or tried to fix her was because she was already dead. This was a really intense scene in my mind when Jolie was chasing her in the basement and cornered her. She looked SCARY.

This is an awesome movie! It is one I own on DVD and can watch it over and over without getting tired of it. The story is excellent and the main character is definitely one that many of us can identify with at one point or another in our lives. Angelina deserved that oscar hands down! For being a supporting role she really made the character, without taking the movie over.

I agree that Girl Interrupted is an excellent movie! The story is just amazing, as is the acting. This is one of the only movies that I actually liked Angelina Jolie in.
