The Ring

My stepdaughter just brought over some DVD's and The Ring was one of them. I had forgotten how creepy this film was. I think this movie influenced a lot of other more recent films like "The Grudge." The cinematography looks somewhat similar to me. Did anyone else think this movie was scary? How about the sequel?

I found this movie pointless and very stupid. The story was awful and was just left too obvious for an uneeded sequel. This movie wasn't scary at all to me, don't bother wasting your time.
