One this movie what are your thoughts. I never had the chance to see the first one, so I have only seen the second one. My son wanted to see it, so I went. It was little strange to me, and did not make me want to really watch it. I did not leave as I wanted to because of the kid but I would never watch this movie again and have no interested in seeing how it all started.

I can't believe they made a sequel....this was one of the worst movies ever made.....how could they have even come up with a story line for the second film? Sounds like from your take they didn't LOL

I'm not really sure how you could have a 2nd movie to this? Do they move to a new town, are there other family members that are freaky and were in hiding during the first movie.

Hills have eyes 1 was ok, and i'm being fairly lenient here, because I love german sheperds. Anyways, it was 'ok' if you don't want to be a film critic about it and just watch a movie for the entertainment value of it.

Hill have eyes 2 was pure exploitative crap. It's a nice little time-machine ride to the exploitation era of 1960-70 film making. You know the ultra-violence, ultra-sex nazi/undead/cannibal exploitation film. Too bad that that era of film-making sucked (italians are terrible film makers, true fact) and HHE2 is no different.
HHE2 is not even just sucky, i've forgiven sucky movies for the sheer entertainment value before (Army of Darkness). It's downright offensive and specifically made to cater to sick, masochist sexual fantasies (see Hostel, then see Eli Roth, then burn Eli Roth).
The movie features amateur acting, mediocre action and ludicrous storyline. As offensive as the sexual material is the true crime is the storyline. It's almost like the producers downright refused to make their characters realistic in any way, shape or form and relied simply on the violence to carry the movie. Don't get me wrong, I love movie violence as much as anybody else, but there's a difference between tastefully done ultra-violence (300, 30DaysofNight), and the steaming platter of crap that HHE2 serves up.

Yeah it was pretty bad. Although it had it's moments. I think they should have let it die after the one they made in the seventies though.
