It's charming enough, though, and there's plenty of laughs. Like any good kids' movie, Meltdown invokes both the specter of global warming and the horrors of hurricane Katrina.

It really makes adults think about things that we usually just brush off! We watched this with our 10 month old daughter, she loved the squeaky voices, I loved the penguins and my husband loved the entire movie (he is not one for cartoons, I am). :)
