Its one of the best teen movies that I have seen. There's nothing here you won’t have seen a million times before, but -- despite its shortcomings -- it's still one of the better teen movies to come along in a while.

With colorful characters and snappy performances, Mean Girls is a rare laugh-out-loud film.

Having to agree with both of you. It shows the traditional use of being a bully and that even after many years it is still occurring in schools todays. It is a more unfamiliar way of showing how bullies really effect schools and teens attending.

I haven't yet seen this movie but I have cable and have been watching for it to appear on some of the movie channels. I think this is the film that was Lindsey Lohan's big break wasn't it? Anyway, thanks for the reviews. I may even go and rent it at the video store.

'Mean Girls' was on t.v. just a few days before my daughter made her own transition into public school and it spurred a much needed discussion about bullying, cliques and school politics. So, in a way, this movie helped my daughter prepare for school!

I liked Mean Girls, and I thought that cast was strong. I didn't like Lindsay Lohan so much in this movie as in others that she has been in, and I think that her acting was the weakest. I thought that the movie was done in a tasteful manner, and it could have been worse.
