If you liked Amelie then you should like this. It stars Audrey Tatou and is about her search for a lost love during WWI. Neat effects in the Amelie vein. Actually, very much in the vein of Amelie as far as humor and meaning go. If anything it is alittle long and not dubbed in English. So if reading subtitles doesn't bother you check it out. Also, watch for a odd cameo by Jodie Foster.

Not a big fan of Amelie, but A Very Long Engagement is just great story telling. The acting is really strong, and the attention to detail puts you right into the film. I just wish the French could produce more movies like this, and not their usual crap.
