Anyone over here who has seen this movie which s much talked about in my part of the world. I heard this is based on a true story. Dont know about that.

I heard this was a true story too, I walked into my book shop and they were trying to sell the book version of this film :D

I don't think that Hannibal is a true story but I could be wrong. I haven't seent his film but I really enjoy the character of Hannibal. He is just so fascinaqting but I don't think that any actor can ever match Hopkins original performance.

I dont see how hannible rising can already be out in film when the novel was just released weeks ago. This is supposed to be the explanation of why hannible lector became the lovable character we met in Silence of the Lambs.

I have yet to see it myself, but what it if was based partially on a true story? Sometimes movies like that, entertain me even more - then when the movie is over, I go and google the real stuff to find out what was made into the movie or not. :)
