This is another trilogy of movies I really enjoyed, although I was horribly disappointed that whats-her-face didn't get eaten in the third movie. I heard her make some nasty little homophobic remark one time, and I think it might have been about Michael Jeter, whom I loved, and who was in the movie with her. I like the concept of cloning dinosaurs, and you know that someday, someone is going to try.
This is called serious movie making. Steven sure knows how to win hearts make others run for there money.

I loved all 3 of them, the dinosaurs and all the special effects were so amazingly realistic and it was fantastic! Great storylines...

lol, cloning the dinosaurs!!!! I'd love to clone a dinosaur and play with him.
I love to see little dinosaurs, unless and until they grow bigger they look cute.

I was never really able to get into these movies which is surprising because I think dinosaurs are intersting. I just didn't find the films all that interesting though I know they were huge smashes.

The movie series had a great concept but I think that it really did not flow from one to the other as it should have. The first was great, the other two were ok. I would probably never watch them again unless I was tied to a chair and forced to.

The first was classic and fantastic, great story, effects, acting...the whole package. The second really let me down, I should have never waited in line for hours just to get tickets....waste! These films get worse and worse with every installment....by the third all I could think was, how stupid do they think we really are? I think the last two were just attempts and box office greed and nothing more. See the first...forget the rest!

I haven't watched Jurassic Park since I was a kid. It was great! The 2nd was a let-down. Never saw the 3rd, though it sounds like I didn't miss much! I remember it being a really big deal going to see the first one. It was scary! I should rent Jurassic Park for my 8-yr. old, she'd love it. Thanks for the idea!:p

The first Jurassic Park movie was definitely the greatest in the series. I'm not too fond of the second and third movies, but I thought they were still alright. I actually just watched the third movie the other night, it was on cable.

All of them were Steven at his best. He surely knows how to direct movies. The effects were rocking, I remember i was literally terified when i heard sounds of dinasaurs on dolby surround sound.

I do agree that Steve can make some kick ass movies, but I was really not as into this as most were. Not sure why, I love big things destroying stuff, but somehow it just didn't click to me. :(

What i am looking forward to is the fourth one. I am really curious to see what it's going to be about.

I agree with Discoverygirl. The first was the best, part 2 was ok and 3 was ludicrous. We're talking with raptors now.... mmmkay...
When I saw Jurassic Park 1 in theatres I was literally blown away, pound for pound, the best Spielberg movie yet. Who does not remember the first time they introduced T-Rex? That scene is iconic and you'd be hard pressed to find somebody who didn't just love it. I watched the movie 3 times in theatres, mostly for that one scene. After 3 times I was wonderfully terrifed of T-rex. And tropical islands. And electric cars. And rain....
Honestly for part 4 they can just disregard the ludicrous story arc the series went into. I'm pretty sure I would still watch the movie even if it was just 2 hours of people running away from dinosaurs.

I enjoyed 2 out of 3 of the films. The second installment to the trilogy wasn't that great, but it wouldn't stop me from owning all 3 movies in a box set. The first film was superior to the second two, but it doesn't mean the third movie was garbage. The first movie came out when I was a kid, and all the toys that they came out with were awesome. There was nothing like making a huge T-rex eat one of you action figures and recreating the movie in you own house. I also got a chance to get my picture taken at Universal Studios Florida, with a T-rex escaping from the electric fence and the green sux right behind me. At 11 years old I thought this was soo cool.

I loved the first two jurassic park movies. I remember as a kid when I went to see the lost world I went with my dad and we were two of the four people in the theater, the movie had been out for a while, and i just absolutely loved it. When I was younger i was a huge dinosaur fan so i just loved every minute of it. THe third one however while i was able to enjoy it just for the dinosaur factor and the special effects, i also really love the music, but the story was just lacking. It was a reach to get the people back on the island.

Hopefully they can pull a good movie off with the 4th installment.

I've been fascinated by dinosaurs since I was a child. By the time the first JP flick came out, I had already read the book twice. I like all 3 movies, but not to the same degree. The third one is definitely the weakest of the three. Possibly because, unlike the first two, they didn't have a novel to draw from.
So does anyone know if there's gonna be a JP4? If so, I think it should involve the dinos getting off the island and wreaking havock on the mainland.
