He's working on a film called "There Will Be Blood" based on the Upton Sinclair novel, Oil. He's got the great Daniel Day Lewis in the lead and supposedly $20 million to work with.

Lewis plays a prospector who buys the oil rights to a family's ranch and strikes it rich when he finds oil. It's a tale about greed. Lewis's character becomes destroyed by the American Dream. Reportedly he's been researching the part intensely.

In my opinion, Anderson is one of the best young directors, maybe even the best, so I expect another winner from him.
