Okay, I'll admit it, in my younger days before I had kids, I would indulge in an hour of complete fantasy - I watched General Hospital. :o It's been ages since I've seen it, and I'm thinking that some of the same stories are probably being played out. Hehe Will anyone else be brave enough to admit it with me?

I too watched soaps when I was younger - I really can't imagine having that much time on my hands now to follow one on a regular basis! My favorites were General Hospital (Luke and Laura forever), Days of Our Lives (Bo and Hope were so adorable) and Santa Barbara.

If it weren't for SoapNet, I don't think I'd ever find out what's going on! There's no way I'd be able to stop what I'm doing at 2pm and watch it on a daily basis. I rarely get to see it, but if I do, I catch it on SoapNet.

I only watch the Young and the Restless and have done for about 25 years, to my horror and embarrassment. LOL. I get it from a channel 3 hours west of me, so I get to watch it at 7 pm, which is great for me. :)

Can I ask something honestly? Why do people truly watch these shows? The writing is so bad and the acting worse, do people really have nothing better to do with their lives then waste it watching this stuff?

My mother used to watch soaps, I remember seeing afew on the TV when I was a kid, but never got into it. All the drama, and seriously - who needs that crap? We got enough going on in the world as it is. :D
