Man vs. Wild or the Survivorman

My sweetie loves to watch these kinds of shows, to "teach the kids how to be prepared in case of an accident." So, which do you prefer watching? If I HAD to choose between the two, I'd prefer Survivorman. At least he's not grandstanding and actually thinks things through. The other guy does things that just don't make sense sometimes. That's NOT how to teach others how to survive.

I think Les Stroud (aka Survivorman) really does want to help people know what to do if they're put in any of those situations. I think Bear Grylls (Man vs. Wild) just likes to show off. I think he's ended up naked in almost every show, hasn't he?
