My husband just asked about the 4th Indiana Jones movie. I didn't even know they were making one! Anyhow, I did some checking around, and YEP, they are. It's slated to be released May 2008. Next year should be the year of the movie!

What? What's up with dredging up former action actors and having one more kick at the cat in their character? Rocky, Rambo, John McClane and now Indiana Jones. These guys are getting a little old for this, aren't they?

Another one? Are they serious? Man they are starting a trend of comeback heros. I think they are short of new concepts.

I love the old action movies and I'm super glad their coming back, but they better be good.

I guess Harrison Ford figured he'd better get the money while the getting's good. ;) I mean, it won't be too long he won't be able to earn the money he gets now.

So, he's found the Ark of the Covenant and he's found the Holy Grail. What other Biblical artifact can he find this time, I wonder? Do you think he'll go looking for the head of John the Baptist?

Being the HUGE Indianna Jones fan that I am, I having truly been waiting for this film for years and years since the rumor started. All I can say is after everyone taking forever to agree on a plot, it better be freakin awesome. This movie took entirely too long to make, seriously. The rumor started in the late 90's they were going to make one more.....for those of you wondering whats up with bringing back Indy in his golden years, the truth is the path to this film started way back before anyone would have said comeback hero. I'm just afraid the wait will only lead to a let down. Perhaps the success of the previous 3 is truly what delayed the production of this last film, if everyone and everyone involved could just get off their high, hollywood A list perches and just truly work on making a great movie this movie would have been out years ago. Too many people who think they have the power to demand the outcome of a film just delays the entire project.....Please, please please let me be wrong about the let down!

I just read online that Sean Connery will not be in the 4th movie. He released a press statement confirming the rumors, he said that if any movie could have brought him out of retirement it would have been this one, but retirement is just too fun. I also read that Kate Blanchet is in the new cast, however there is no title for the film yet.

Unless they are going with new people that can actually play the part, or are taken then original actors kids to play the part - I see no reason to watch a film that has been done this late in the game. :(

:D Well I just bought the new Indy movie and loved every minute of it. Harrison was as good as ever and I'd defy anyone his age and some a little younger to be able to do as good.
The story was true to the legend and was excellent in scenery as all the others of the series which I also own.
For action and thrills you can't beat Spielberg and Lucas I also loved seeing the "old gang" back into action together.
I hope that those of you who are bored with this series stick to ones you love but remember there is a new generation of movie goers out there as well as the hard core fans such as myself who enjoyed every minute of it.
Hey if Johnny Depp can flog his Pirate's horse to death I think Indiana Jones has every right to do the same..besides he is some tough horse. WAY TO GO INDY!
