I was reading where they've started working on Star Trek XI. Rumor is that they'll go back in history to when Kirk and Spock were in Star Fleet Academy. Who do you think should play Kirk and Spock? Will you go see it when comes out around Christmas 2008?

I haven't missed a Trek film yet, so I'll probably go, but I might wait for the DVD. It'll be hard to cast them well, I think. The actors would have to watch all the original episodes to get all Kirk and Spock's (and presumably McCoy's) mannerisms.

They are cming back.. Thats good news. Selection is going to be a tough jb since a lot changes have taken place in the film industry since the last one came out.

They can age people just using computer graphics, do you think they'd try making them look younger with that technology? That way, Shatner and Nimoy could play themselves. LOL

I've never been a fan of the Star Trek flicks so I won't be going to see this one but I know there are a lot of fans that will be thrilled with the new release.
