Sammuel L Jackson's Nick Fury is pissing me off!

Why is, one of my favorite actors, Sammuel L Jackson, is playing Nick Fury? I can understand if the movie was base on The Ultimates line and not the current Iron Man. Why are they mixing the two? I'm really angry that they didn't use the current Nick Fury. I would've like to see him as he is. Nick Fury is a major character in the Marvel Universe. He had his own comic series for crying out loud.
I'm getting sick and tired of seeing characters like this get changed up with major celebrities to sell more tickets. Die hard fans of Iron Man are more and enough to bring in money. Enough is Enough! FANS COME FIRST!!!

they're using him as nick fury because the ultimates version of nick was based on Sammuel L Jackson with his consent. i guess they thought it would be easier to use him then find a actor that looks like the other nick fury and have him do a good job

That's a cop-out. Making it easier for them to just move along the process is just another way for others to do the same. Next thing you know the next Catwoman will be played by a small Mexican chick. (not to sound racist).
It just disappoints die hard fans with stuff like that.
They already make changes with the story line when they format it to the big screen. As if we wouldn't notice things like that.

I just saw another episode of Smallville and I started to cry. LOL,

it's not a cop-out. davis hasselhoff played hick fury in "Agent of Shield". the white nick fury has been done. they went with the ultimate version of nick fury because he's not what people expect. i wasn't happy about it at first either, but his scene with robert downey jr. in iron man was fantastic. short, direct, and awesome. we won't see samuel l. jackson as fury again until maybe captain america. if not then the avengers movie. the only reason he was put into iron man was so that fans get the idea that all these movies exist in the same universe.
