I was looking through my movie collection last night and hit this one. I haven't watched it in a while, but now I have the urge to see it again. I love Kathy Bates and she's marvellous in this film. It's fun watching her character grow and the rest of the movie--the story being told by Jessica Tandy's character--is excellent. Big thumbs up for this one.

Isn't that the movie that was based on Fannie Flagg's book? I don't think I ever saw it, but thought it might be decent. I'll have to look into renting it, if it's still available.

This was a good movie, a good story and cast. Not one of my all time favorites though. It is a good one to watch every once in a great while though.
