I think I live in an area where movies are probably fairly cheap in the theatre. I think on cheap night it's around $7.95 for an adult and $5.75 for children and seniors all the time. Friday nights are expensive: $9.25.
So...what's it like where you are?

Generally, for a matinee prices are $4.50 (before 5p.m.). For other times, prices are $6.50 per adult and $4.50 per child. I don't guess that's as bad as $9.75 per adult ticket. Wow!

I usually wait until movies come out on DVD because, and I'll admit it, I don't like spending the money to have to listen to people talk during a movie. The last time I was at a movie, I think it was around $7.00, but I could be wrong.

That's pretty good, ML. It used to be about $7.50 on expensive night just a couple years ago. It's gone up quite a bit...probably because of the new theatre. :)
You know what we are paying... I am from India and after converting in dollars We ahve to pay $$2.5 per person whether adult or child. Nice naa..

I remember when it was that low here, but I was about 12 years old and that was a long, long time ago. :)

Movies where I live in ranges from $4 to even $11 sometimes depending upon the service they provide.

Generally it varies from $5 to $10. Its an acceptable amount of money to sped over movies.

When I take my daughter on half-price day, our tickets come to about $11, total, so, double that for 1 adult and 1 child, normally.:)
