I like the Rocky in the first film, after that I don't care. The character that Sly created was great and the first film is a classic, but Rocky Balboa is going to be a bomb.
The first Rocky was great, but there is no way that this film will be even possibly ok. And I'm one that really liked Daylight.

You liked Daylight? You must be the only other person who has seen it besides me and the only person who likes it.

I just read the preview for Rocky, and I have to agree, Stallone hasn't made anything good since cop land. The film was good, because he wasn't the main character. I am impressed by the weight he gained, and then quickly lost. I wish I could do that with millions of dollars and 10 personal trainers and cooks.

I think I was one of the few people that saw Driven, and I believe I can pinpoint the exact second when Stallone's career went all wrong.

I just watched first blood the other nite and it reminded me how far the great Sly has fallen. This is the guy who made the Rocky films, which- besides the ridiculous fifth installment- were epic. Cobra, Rambo, hell even Victory- and now hes what- 60?! and pimping john rambo and rocky balboa. please sly, just stop.

First Blood is quite excellent. I think "pimping" is a good word.
You can at least hope that he could make good bad movies, like Over the Top, but he just makes bad ones, period.

I must admit that I've liked some of Sly's "stupid" movies - like Driven and Over the Top - but yeah, the last few years he has been "pimping" it. The first Rocky and Rambo were exellent, but the upcoming sequels are just way over the line.. and i'm totally gonna watch them. but lets just say that Sly is definetly "Over the Top."

Can't Wait To See It. The Critics Shouldn't Under -estimate The 40-60 Year Old Audience. We Love Rocky!!!!!!! Every Episode Has Great
Inspirational Athletic Training Material And Rocky Is So Endearing. It Will Be A Hit Despite The Critics.
My Daughter Is A Professional Tennis Player And Has Watched And Rewatched Certain Scenes From The Older Episodes. It's So Inspirational In So Many Areas. Plus Of Course The Theme Music Motivates Us All.
Can't Wait To See It...

Agreed. When I need motivation I always put on a Rocky movie (usually Rocky 4), and just go crazy on my punching-bag. Rocky has been an inspiration for so many people. Plus, the movies follow the course of Stallone's career. People say he is to old to make a comeback. Well, they say the same thing about Rocky..
I think that the third rocky was the best. but about this one I honestly think that stallone should just give up and the director should just get some one else thats not 62 to play rocky. because please who is going to want to see a movie with a 62 year old as the star

I don't know about some of you guys but I have read both [I]Eragon and Eldest And I loved reading these books and now that they are making a movie of them, well I think it will be just as big as Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but it will have its own effect on the people who will watch this movie. I can't wait until this movie comes out.

She'll be in it, but only during Rocky's recollections, so only archive footage will be used. Talia Shire (Rocky's Wife) will not actually be in the film.

I honestly don't think any of you know what in god's name your talking about. You see one movie and you demnd more fighting and you get it. Then you complain that there is too much fight and the movie sucked. I honestly think you guys should dtop talking and maybe watch the movie when it comes out before you make any decisions. Sure Sly hasn't had many good movie but this is his legacy and I think he wants his career to go out with a bang. So stop bashing something you know nothing about, if when it comes out it sucks then bash it all you want. Until that time just stop talking about something you know nothing about. It is honestly getting annoying.

i've seen and have the collection of the Rocky series and i love em all, and with his 6th film coming out, i can't wait to see it, personally i didn't like his rambo, and i reckon that Driven was one of his best film, also "Stop or my mother will shoot was a great comedy that he did, even though it wasn't successfull it was really funny. but with the new rocky i believe that his wife adrian dies early in the film thats why she isn't credited. overall this film has its promises, and i personally cant wait
