Okay, this is one of my "must-see" shows every week. I absolutely love House to bits. He's such an ass, and he's so arrogant and annoying and you wonder why you like him, but you do. It's unavoidable, at least in this house. My son and daughter feel the same way--"Why do we like this guy? He's a jerk!" and he's one of our all-time faves.

He kind of gets on my nerves sometimes, and the stories are always the same: misdiagnose 500 diseases before finding the right one in the last five minutes and save the person's life. It gets repetitive.

I totally agree with you! I'm a busy mom, nursing student, freelance writer, and nursing assistant at a long-term care facility but I make time to watch this show. House is absolutely magnetic! The writers for such show are geniuses.

And then last night, they went and proved me wrong! LOL. That was a good twist to the episode, but I still think it's mostly predictable. I'm not saying it's bad, but I don't mind if I miss it.

That really surprised me, too. I wonder if the writers were making some kind of morality statement, since she was a drug addict and all that. Hard to say.

I've only seen the show a time or two, and that was because we were someplace a TV was on, but I could see how you would get hooked on it. And, you're right, he is arrogant and abrasive, and you can't help but like him.

It's a good thing that the show is on later in the evening. I don't think it's the kind of thing you want younger kids watching. I've seen it, can see where it would be appealing, but won't watch it because my kids are still generally up that late on Fridays.

My 14 year old daughter just started watching it recently. Her brother (who is 21) and I haven't missed an episode in ages if we can help it, and she found herself sucked in like the rest of us. LOL.

The show is great although sometimes it lacks the pace that is expected from it. I am not such a fan of it. Just watch it sometimes when there is nothing else to watch. lolzz

I think it's quite a good show and the storylines are pretty good, great for an afternoon or friday night if you have it taped ;)

I started watching House last Oct. about a week after my daughter was born, DVR came in handy ofor quite sometime! I still record all the old shows, so I know everything that happened. Honestly, he is a jerk sometimes, but he is the jerk you would want later on if that was you in the hospital. :)
