My daughter, when she was living here, got me watching "Survivor" and now I get sucked in every time it has a new kick at the cat. It's embarrassing.

However, the last episode caused much hilarity and guffawing in my living room when there was that terrific surprise to the cabal that my younger daughter and I don't care for, and the cabal we DO like kicked butt. Heh.

I need to get out more.

Stupidest idea for a show ever, in my opinion. If they want real survival, they should do "Survivor: Antarctica" or something. I'd watch that.

LMAO. That would be great! I could seriously get into that version for sure! Make survival a real issue and not the pretend version that it is. It's interesting to watch the dynamics between the players though. I love Yau Man and Earl and I hope one of them gets the money.

My mom won't miss Survivor for anything. She is so engrossed in the interaction between the "contestants" that you'd think she knew them personally. I'm with you Granny, I don't think they'd know how to survive if they really had to do it.

I've never really understood the appeal of the Survivor series though I know they are hugely popular. I'm not really a competitive person by nature so maybe the competitive aspect of the program doesn't appeal to me.

I think I got turned off the first season when Richard Hatch was walking around the island naked. Sorry, that just doesn't appeal to me. Then of course, so much of it is staged, that it's not truly a survival show.

I don't watch the show often. I've just seen it a handful of times. Have they done a Survivor: Greenland yet? That would almost be as good as Survivor Antarctica.
