Wow.. This actually turned out to be a great movie. I had really hoped that it would be able to live up to the other movies in the saga (yes, all of them), and it truly were. I don't know why so many people kinda wanted this movie to fail, but many were proven wrong. Sly really proves that he actually is a good actor, and the other actors do a great job too most of the time. A more worthy end to a great saga than Rocky 5 was.

Just like I suspected. The movie was full of actions scenes, emotions, passion for boxing and great fight sequences.

I never cared for the Rocky movies, or the Rocky character, and I'm thinking that Sylvester Styrofoam is getting a little bit old to pull this off. However, y'all seem to think it's a good go around, so maybe it's not as bad as I thought it would be. Still, I won't see it till it's out on DVD.

Agreed, this movie by far surpassed my expectations, lived up to the originals well, good solid storyline adapted well to fit the other films, and finished with a great fight, making it a good movie all in all, just need to see the extra ending on the dvd and itll finish it off. :D
Stallone has a talent for making movies which have lots of emotion. The entire Rocky franchise is so enjoyable, including the fifth movie. But Rocky Balboa did not add anything, it was just a redo of the first movie.

Was this sequel really required? I dont think so. They are degrading the charisma of Rocky as it was created 20 years ago, with bad grade sequels showing the old age of Rocky. I think we should leave the image of rocky as the young fighter not an old potbelly.

They are all ruining the original Rocky balboa, by portraying him as such a stupid looking old retired boxer. They should stop it.
