I checked out Rescue Dawn at http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=39 and I think that... it's insane that they did not pay the crew for that movie. Is the filming over? If so, I can see a huge legal battle on its way. Which would mean we will never see this fine film.

Yeah, I'm actually a huge fan of Herzog and was really waiting for this one, so I'm worried about this. Hope this movie comes out sometime this year and not direct to DVD or something like that.

Well the release date has changed, to undetermined, so that can't be a good sign. I hope this doesn't screw up Herzog's career, which is starting to take off.

This is one of Herzog's most original films but it's also more accessible than his great idiosyncratic films. The story sounds familiar though.

Expertly filmed and vividly well-acted, this true-life war thriller is remarkably understated and yet powerfully gripping and moving.
