Nobody comes to the forum section here, I have to wonder why. There's so much we can do here yet nobody comes here and only comments in the news section.

Is there nothing for them to say anything in-depth about films or stories? Or for any other topic for that matter? Just curiosity is all.

I used to post all of the time over at Marvel but I got tired of having to censor myself. The one nice function they have are instant e-mails when someone posts on a thread that you have followed. Maybe if WP does the instant e-mail it would catch on more? Or maybe have it set up like Marvel does with a story and then at the bottom it has the "Join the discussion" link that takes you to a thread for the story. Pretty much copy Marvel.com WP! Haha.

Hmm, Well this forum ya know kind of has a toll on me. Like, its a place where I can talk about movies and go into depth about them. They're like my life and that's what I do for a living is filmmaking. To me, its hard for me to understand how a lot of people don't understand certain things about the boundries of film and books or comic books. There's just certain things, certain rules, etc.

I mean, I understand you want be true to the book and all and I am all for that. But there's also some things you gotta do in a film to make it work. It works differently in our head while reading the book while it doesn't in the reality of film boundries so it's gotta be a ton different. That's unfortunate but yeah.

You'll have to show me the Marvel forum so I can see what you're talking about this whole chat/forum thing. It does sound more interesting and faster. Guitar_Dudester91 and I have been trying to find a better forum to talk in.

Here is an example for you:

http://www.marvel.com/news/moviestories.7820.On_the_Red_Carpet~colon~_Wolveri ne_Premiere

If you scroll to the bottom of the page it has 3 comments by people and a "Join This Discussion" on the bottom left side. You click on the button and it takes you to the thread that recaps the story and then users leave comments on the boards instead of the actual news page. Makes people actually browse the boards.

I'll have to check that out. It sounds like that's exactly what Worstpreviews needs.
