I Think Robin Should Be In The Batman Begins 3 Because you Can't Do Batman Trilogy And Not Have Robin. He Should Be Dark As Batman...! :)

Don't you think Robin doesn't fit that whole serious, dark style of the films?

If it is the Dick Grayson Robin just before becoming Nightwing,OK; any of the other Robins--no way!!

With The Right Actor And Nolan Robin CAN Be As Dark Is Batman !

I always thought that the Robin character was a bit cheesy. No matter how you present them, sidekicks are almost always silly. Even Nolan won't be able to pull that off.

So you think the "Shadow" is referring to Robin? I would think that it is refering to the fear Batman's shadow creates.

A dark Robin, good stuff, if it succeeds they can do a NIGHTWING SPIN-OFF. ;)

i have never really been a big fan of the robin character because batman doesnt seem like the type to take on a sidekick imo. However if they were to do robin in the third I hope that they look at the dark victory gn as it is a very good intro for robin.

nolan won't put robin in because he has stated over and over again that the batman begins trilogy is supposed to be about him establishing himself as a crime fighter and being new to the batman persona. robin came much later, after batman had established himself as Gotham's superhero.

I think Batman is going to need robin because the joker is to much for him to handle and then you got two face it is way to much for batman. The only way robin is in this is if he has a very gothic suit and he is darker then he previously was and he is not a sidekick to batman he just wants to do the same thing that batman wants to do bring justice.

I hope there is not a robin because if there is Christian Bale said he would not reprise his role. nobody wants George clooney back
Yeah, yeah!!....
....and u'r fat ass moms could play the Penguin!
Get a life. :)
I don't mean u "The Joker".
I'm 100% behind u on that one. No one needs to see George Clooney in tights.
If there is going to be a Robin in the film, he should be all tatooed up, smoke some weed, wear a du-rag, and just be a bad ass gangsta before he becomes Robin. There's some realism for y'all. :)

I agree with the dark robin idea. Unfortunately every time I think about Robin being in a Batman film I flashback to Chris O'Donnell and I want to stab my eyes out. I think those Shumacher movies have caused me to have post tramatic stress syndrome and no matter how many Christopher Nolan Batman movies come out the images wont leave my brain.

It doesn't really matter to me. DC comics were always more about selling books than stories. They changed backgrounds and timelines numerous times with all their characters and the readers pretty much picked their stable backgrounds. Robin actually came pretty early on in the Batman comic timeline because DC wanted him to seem more like a "father figure" and actually it made him look more like a "child molester". Seriously... Dick Grayson was his "ward" and not his "adopted son".... Holy NAMBLA Batman!

Well, Robin can work in variously different ways in Nolan's world. They could either:
A) Introduce the character Dick Grayson as a kid. Bruce will adopt him, look after him. Let's establish a relationship between Dick & Bruce. Dick will have a revenge plot to whoever killed his parents. Give it an emotional story on how Bruce tries his hardest to take care of Dick. Dick will not don Robin till the end.
B) Dick could be introduced quickly and rushed him to become Robin. Bruce trains him, blah, blah, there's the studio's box office money, not the story itself that it deserves.
C) They have to really re-invent Robin's costume so it doesn't look too funny to see. We are going to want to take Robin very seriously as possible. He leads a rough life and a terrifying death.
If they were to go the route to Robin "Dick Grayson" in the third installment of Batman, they'd have to be very, very careful on how they portray that character. He's a very sensitive subject. Had a very lame costume for a sidekick. Dick Grayson is a very very emotional story.
