it is a complete travesty that 3:10 to Yuma was completely shut out of the nominations this year...I think it is RIDICULOUS that Ben Foster was shut out of the best supporting actor category in favor of someone like Tom Wilkinson..michael clayton was horrible and incoherent

I Totally Agree, Ben Foster is really underrated and deserves recognition for his roles, specially in 3:10 to Yuma and 30 Days of Night this year

Is it just me, or is the omission of a Best Director nomination for Paul Thomas Anderson's work on There Will Be Blood totally wrong and unfair?

In fact, I'm pissed off just thinking about the fact the Hollywood Foreign Press Association gave Charlie Wilson's War a whopping five nominations. That, along with the stupid decision of nominating John Travolta for Supporting Actor instead of someone like Hal Holbrook or Paul Dano, negates everything else they did. So many of their choices are a joke.
