I checked out Apocalypto at http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=229 and I think that... True this movie might be well directed, and very powerfull, but at the same time, I can't help to think that Gibson will continue making these movies, until he crosses the line, and starts making black and white silent films or a puppet show, just for shock value, not realizing that nobody cares about his work anymore.

I doubt that anyone who is driven by their work, especially if driven to the point of madness, is going to do anything just for shock value.
