Saw this one today. Anyone else see it? I didn't feel the hype. I wasn't "pinned to my seat" as the coverbox said. I did think the idea of "noirish" slang was way cool. My problem was that I figured it out to quick. Which brings the question. Are movies adding too much symbolism to help it achieve "Cult" status? Is that why it never made a full fledged theatrical release. Is this the same with "Little Miss Sunshine" and "The Illusionist"? Look at their per screen average and you will wonder what your missing out on. Anyway, "Brick" let you feel smart. Like you were being let in with the "in" clique. But, I felt like the geeky A.V. kid on the sidelines. A kid that admired the camera work and dialogue over the substance. Anyone else feel this way?

I never even heard of this. Does it have a plot you can describe in any way or is it just a sort of series of scenes?
