I checked out East of Eden at http://www.worstpreviews.com/review.php?id=269 and I think that...Ron Howard needs to be careful as this is, in my opinion, one of the greatest pieces of modern fiction written. Steinbeck is a master author and really makes you feel the characters... can this story be retold by Hollywood without losing the essence of what makes it so brilliant?
