Any news on the new Aliens v. Predator?

Can you guys tell us anything about the new AVP2? directed by the Strause Bros.? Hopefully it's R-rated. Who are the Strause bros.? are they really bros? can they do this? Story? Cameron? P. Anderson? Who wrote it? Why? Is it going to be good?

It will begin filming this week.

Reiko Aylesworth from "24" and Steven Pasquale from "Rescue Me" are the first two cast members announced - no details yet on their characters.

Film is being shot in Vancouver, the setting of the story will be a small town in Colorado (changed from small Texas town initially).

Greg and Colin Strause are brothers with a bunch of special effects experience. They have claimed that they will try to make the flick a lot more like the original Alien and Predator films, not like the first AVP. That's good news for old-schoolers, but I'm not sure how they are going to make that work with Shane Salerno writing the screenplay. Salerno is responsible for Armageddon.

what happened with paul w. anderson, the first director of avp. in a interview he said he would write and work out all for avp 2?

does someone else of the first movie work on avp 2 again?



i am always angree and dissapointed because there are no connections or relations in the predator movie.its always the same. theres a main predator who dies in the end or a human whomet the predators and survived but in the suquel there was no connection to this.
for example arnold schwarznegger as dutch in the end of predator,
or harrigan at the and of predator 2, who gets a special gift from the clan leader and even in avp the main character survived and get a special gift but in avp 2 alexa woods wont be in? why is this so?this is stupid, so in the movies no one could give his experience to other characters in the movie....
